Getting to know the characters

Me and Gina are the two people in our group doing the acting. Our characters play a couple who are currently dating. Our characters are Jacob and Isabella. Our characters will mainly be wearing casual clothes because most of the scenes will be outside of school or in school, the students will not need to wear school uniform in school because they are older than 16 and studying A-Levels.

Recce

Last week our group went out on a recce to see where we would shoot some of out opening. We went out of school and found our location.

Rom-Com Film Review (The Break-up)

This is a review on the film 'The Break-up'. This will help us with our studies because the review by critics tells us what is good, what is bad, what works well, and what doesnt work well in the film. By knowing this in our opening we can put the good things in and the things that work well, and avoid the things the critics say are not so good.

Research and Planning Into Rom-coms

Above is a list of films and their directors with similar genres to our idea. This has helped us in our planning stages because it means if our film was ever to be produced we would know who our competition would be and who was the best director to help us. We can tell the best director by looking at the films produced and seeing which one has been most successful.
