Evaluation question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have hearnt in the progression from it to full project?
Here is a link to our preliminary exercise: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFhvl9I7HhA&feature=channel&list=UL
Since editing our preliminary exercise in October 2011 we have learnt about many different things that have influenced us to make our final project.
Camera Work:
In our preliminary we only knew about the 180 degree rule, match on action amd shot/reverse shot. Since then we have learned about loads of different camera shots, angles and movements. In our production we tried to use as many as possible.

This is an example of a high angle, establishing wide shot. This is used to set the scene and allow the views to know the location of the scene.
This is Match On Action, which is what we learned before completing our preliminary, We still used this in our final production.
Editing
This is the editing program on the computer we used to put together our final production. We practiced using effects and cutting and putting this together on this program.

Todays Work
Last week in lesson we continued to edit together our media production, we then showed it to the class and recieved possitive feedback and some constructive critisism. This week we are going to continue to edit our production to improve on it and put the feedback we got into the film. We will also need to film one more scene to continue to improve our production

A detailed and structured plan to filming
- Titles like names, directors, editors etc.
- Snap shots of Joe and Gina while dating
- Establishing wide shot near my house to let the viewer know where we are and what were doing
- Two shot of me and Mat walking, Mat says 'theres only one way you can get her back, you have to play her at her own game'
- Inside my house, I run up my stairs towards my bedroom, a match on action shot of me opening my bedroom door then I lay on my bed
- Video of me and Gina meeting up will be showed to look like a distant happy memory
- Mats voice plays again saying 'you have to play her at her own game'
- Then I rip a picture of me and Gina in half and the title 'KARMA' comes up.

Title sequence
I feel that titles have a major part in creating in a successful opening. It will grab the attention of the audience which is very important. I will be using special effects and sounds to draw in the watcher. We will be creating our titles based on feedback we get from people by filling out our surveys.
